Island & Walkway Scale
- • Minimum Room Area: 14ft x 12ft (4,200mm x 3,600mm) open floor area.
- • Perimeter Clearance: Minimum 3.5ft to 4ft (1,050mm - 1,200mm) walkway around all 4 sides.
- • Island Proportions: Minimum 4ft x 2.5ft; ideal 6ft to 8ft x 3ft for breakfast stools.
- • Overhang Seating: 300mm (12 inches) knee recess under the quartz countertop.
