Straight (Single-Wall) Kitchen
Designed for compact urban homes, studio apartments, and secondary utility kitchens, the straight modular kitchen aligns all appliances, sinks, and storage along a single architectural wall. Space is maximized vertically with full-height ceiling lofts.
Recommended Spatial Dimensions
Linear Ergonomics
- • Minimum Wall Run: 8 feet (2,400mm) to fit hob, sink & prep zone.
- • Ideal Wall Length: 10 to 12 feet (3,000mm - 3,600mm).
- • Linear Sequence: Fridge → Prep Counter → Sink → Main Prep → Hob.
- • Clearance in Front: Minimum 4ft (1,200mm) free walking walkway.
Vertical Loft Optimization
Maximizing Ceiling Height
Because floor area is limited, our engineering team uses dual-tier wall cabinets extending directly to ceiling:
- • Tier 1 Wall Cabinets: 720mm height with hydraulic lift-up flaps for everyday crockery.
- • Tier 2 Overhead Lofts: 400mm deep ceiling lofts for seasonal and bulk storage.
- • Concealed Wire Ducts: Pre-drilled factory channels for chimney pipes and wiring.
